THE UNDERSTORY FOUNDER

Behind UnderStory is Maria Johnston from Co.Down in Northern Ireland. Maria is a well known life, career coach and personality practitioner with more than 20 years' experience helping people understand themselves, recognise their strengths and discover what truly makes them unique.

Throughout her career, Maria has had a particular passion for personality profiling and understanding what makes people tick. She believes that our personalities influence everything from the careers we choose and the way we communicate, to our confidence, relationships, personal style and how we shop!

It was this fascination - with personality and individuality along with her love for fashion & jewellery that inspired UnderStory. The name 'UnderStory' comes from the hidden layer beneath the forest canopy. But for Maria, it represents something much more personal: the hidden layers within every one of us.

She believes each jewellery piece you choose should say something special or hold a memorable story.

Rather than solely following trends, Maria carefully selects pieces that are not only fashionable but also reflect different personalities, moods and individual styles, from bold and confident to romantic, free-spirited, feminine and effortlessly understated.
